The end of J1939 female and male plugs can be overmolded or not, according to your needs.

The J1939 female plug is Type 2, so its Pin F is with smalller diameter like Pin C and Pin J. Type 2 J1939 female plugs can be compatible with Type 1 or Type 2 J1939 male plugs.
The Deutsch 9 Pin J1939 male connector is threaded jamnut mount style common on Paccar trucks (Kenworth, Peterbilt, Western Star).

The 6-wire cable also includes wiring for the J1708 lines. If you do not need the J1708 wires, it is better not to connect them as sometimes the added lines can interfere with the operation of some GPS trackers.

Application
